There are many nice and free themes available for the WordPress blog platform. Few, however, allow the freedom to style almost anything that can be imagined. That’s where Thesis comes in. And yes, I am an affiliate. However, I didn’t become one until I was convinced of it flexibility AFTER I had used it a few times.
I’ve been online for years and have tried many different themes. There were a couple of free themes that I was partial to, mainly because they allowed me to tweak the designs somewhat. I was not inclined to ‘pay’ for a theme when there were so many good ones available. And then one day, I got frustrated with not being able to make what I considered a simple change with a theme. I began searching. I read a lot of good commentary on various themes, and Thesis stood out. I tried to disconnect myself from the hyperbole, well aware that a lot of what I read was written by affiliates. And then I found a site which pointed me to some actual sites created in Thesis. I was mesmerized.
I bought Thesis. At first, I purchased the single use license ($87), but as I became more familiar with the theme and all that it allowed me to do, I upgraded to the developer’s license ($164 ***minus the $84 I’d already paid). I am now an affiliate. If you want to take the plunge and experience the ‘awesomeness’ of Thesis, you can get it here. Click the Thesis icon below.
